An Introduction to Julie

Welcome to Cherished Memories. 

My name is Julie Gilbert and I have recently qualified with the Academy of Professional Celebrants (APC). Although I am recently qualified I have a lot of experience dealing with people that find themselves in either the excitement of planning a wedding or the sorrow of losing a loved one.

My background in customer services was mainly for travel companies. Since moving to Wokingham with my husband and children, I have been a Lecturer at a local college and a Training Manager with St John Ambulance in Pre-Hospital Care. With all my experience I feel confident I can develop and craft the right words that capture emotions and feelings and deliver them in a way that you would want them said. I have the empathy and consideration of people’s feelings, and a creative mind that can help with ideas for something personalised that could enhance your special ceremony and memories. With my training experience and knowledge I can give you the attention to detail you would expect, and to make your special day is even more personal, or the grief you feel to be more manageable and accepting.

I feel this is my time to give back and to help make Cherished Memories. It would be a privilege to help celebrate your big day or to help you through your personal sorrow and loss.
